The interior of Ty Bili is a great mix of the old and the new. Every effort has been made to retain the original features of the stone building, whilst using natural and high quality materials to make the house a completely comfortable and relaxing place to stay. It is charming, functional and cosy, yet carefully chosen pieces and finishes will please the style junkies out there.
The kitchen is sleek and modern with brand new Siemens appliances, including an induction hob, pyrolyse oven, good size fridge (with small freezer) and dishwasher. There is plenty of storage space, and a beige stone worksurface. The dining table will comfortably seat six.
The living room is dominated by a huge old stone fireplace which now houses a modern, efficient Charnwood wood burner (logs provided). There is a large leather sofa, 32 inch plasma TV with Sky satellite, high quality stereo, and an upscaling DVD player with a selection of films. Wifi is also available.
A passageway leads to a hall/office area with separate WC and a washing machine/tumble dryer room.
The whole ground floor has smooth, natural limestone tiles.
Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a WC. The large staircase takes you to the two double bedrooms, the bathroom, the shower room and separate WC. All the bedrooms have seagrass flooring and high quality beds with egyptian cotton bed linen. The large bathroom is in a tadelakt like finish (a decorative polished concrete) and has a freestanding cast iron roll top bath. The walk in shower room has the same finish and a large stone shower area. There is also a separate WC.
The smaller staircase leads from the office / hall area to a cosy single bedroom with a large velux window that gives onto the garden.
