RESERVATION:

To make a reservation we require a 30% deposit.  This can be paid in sterling or euros and is non-refundable.

BALANCE PAYMENT

The balance of rent and security deposit is payable 6 weeks before the start of the rental period. If payment is not received by that date the Owner reserves the right to give notice that the booking is cancelled. The client will remain liable to pay the balance of the rent if the Owner is not able to re-let the Property. Bookings made within six weeks of the start of the rental period require full payment at the time of booking.

DAMAGE DEPOSIT

We ask you to take care of the house during your stay.  A separate payment is required which varies slightly for each property for the damage - good housekeeping deposit. This should be made payable to C.M. Bernard with the balance of rental either by cheque or bank transfer.   The client is fully responsible to the third parties involved, including the owner, for any damages and/or losses to the property and belongings of that third party, which occur within the duration of the holiday. However, the damage deposit shall not limit the client's liability to the owner.

 You are required to leave the property in a clean and tidy condition. If this is not the case, the owner reserves the right to make a deduction of £20 per extra hour of cleaning required from the damage deposit for extra costs incurred. We do have a cleaning lady who has up to 6 hours to change the linen, clean and prepare the house for your arrival, she can only do this to the very high standard that we demand if the house has had a quick once over beforehand. This allows her to 'deep clean' things like the oven, windows, etc.

DIRECTIONS

Full directions on how to find the property will be sent out on receipt of the balance. We provide a folder of more detailed information at the property which we recommend you read.

RENTAL PERIOD

The rental period shall commence at 3:30 p.m. on the first day and finish at 10.00 a.m. on the last day. The Owner shall not be obliged to offer accommodation before the time stated and the Client shall not be entitled to remain after the time stated (in both cases unless otherwise agreed by the Owner

ACCOMMODATION

All the accommodation and services are solely for the use of those people named on the booking form. The maximum sleeping capacity must not be exceeded.

INSURANCE

We cannot accept responsibility for any loss or damage to your property suffered during your stay, so we recommend that you purchase appropriate insurance, to include personal injury and cancellation cover.

THEFT

We regret that we cannot under any circumstances be held responsible for theft or loss of your belongings or property during your stay with us.

FORCE MAJEURE

In the event that the property should become uninhabitable due to factors beyond our control we will offer a full rental refund but cannot accept liability for any further costs.
